Document Templates

Document Templates are used in three different section of ClariNet LS:

  • the Contract Package in Closing Transactions,
  • the Bid Offer Letter in Bidding Transactions, and
  • the Documents tab of Case Summary.

Create your own templates in MS Word (a Policy summary page, a fax header page, an order...) and insert ClariNet LS place holders (called Building Blocks) for Case data like Case Reference, Face Amount... anywhere in that document. Save this as a Word Template with a dotx extension, and upload it in the relevant Admin page:

  • Admin menu, Contract Package Defaults.
  • Admin menu, Interaction, "Bidding and Closing" tab, "Bidding, Offer Letter Templates" section.
  • Admin menu, Exports & Reports, "Document Templates" section.

Finally, click on the Download or Populate icon on the appropriate page for the Case in ClariNet LS:

  • Expand a Case on the Case List, Closing Transaction section, View Closing Summary (magnifier icon), "Contract Package" tab, Edit icon on the "Contract Package" title, then click on any of the magnifier icons in the Template column for each row to get individual documents, or on the "Combined Package" which will populate all documents and combine them in a single one.
  • Expand a Case on the Case List, Sent or Received Bidding Transaction sections, View Transaction Summary (magnifier icon), "Bid History" section, click the DOC icon near the "Payment Information" title on the right.
  • Documents tab of Case Summary, "Document Templates" section at the bottom, click the "Populate" icon (magnifier).
We support Office 2013 and later versions.
