Create a LexServ Connection
To connect ClariNet to LexServ, you will need a set of OAuth 2.0 credentials, which you can obtain directly from LexServ Support. These credentials allow ClariNet to authenticate using a Client Credentials grant type to retrieve a bearer token for querying LexServ’s REST API.
Once you have these credentials, a Subscriber Administrator can set up the new document connection in ClariNet.
- Go to the Settings menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Document service connections.
- Click the Actions button.
- Click Create LexServ connection
- Fill in the connection details
- Name: a descriptive label for your reference (e.g. LexServ API)
- Service URL: the LexServ API endpoint, typically https://cloud.itm21st.com
- Token URL: the OAuth authorization endpoint, typically https://id.longevity-holdings.com/oauth/token
- Audience matches the Service URL
- Client ID: Provided by LexServ support
- Client Secret: Provided by LexServ support
- Click TEST, if the credentials are valid, a “Test connection successful” message will appear.
- Click SAVE to finalize and store the connection.
ClariNet stores credentials securely using industry best practices. Once the connection is saved, sensitive fields such as Client ID and Client Secret will no longer be visible in ClariNet. If you need to retain these details for future reference, please store them securely in accordance with your organization’s policies and best practices.
